Day #7 Testing in theory and practise

The exercise was to write an entry on team´s experiences as testers. Students enjoyed the testing session as they met an other group of service designers, who had worked with the same Kiel marketing project, but stayed in Finland. One of the teams wrote that "it was very challenging not to push your own ideas or listen the idea at whole and then comment after the presentation".

Best grades for this day got team Syneka Jr. We have now three days of Seppo game left, and MakeKileGreatAgain is leading. The differences between the teams are under 100 points.

All teams have done great work with customer journeys and they are worth developing further. Paper and pencil again seemed to be an effective tool in face-to-face work. We also used realtimeboard.com as well as other digital tools during the workshop.

The exercise was to write an entry on the team´s ideation process. All the students´ ideation work was marvelous. The entries could have had more analytical touch and self-reflection, but otherwise great work šŸ‘

Intercultural Approach to Design Thinking

We started in Kiel today a new Seppo Game for Intercultural Approach to Design Thinking. Players are students from Laurea and Kiel Universities of Applied Sciences. There are three teams and each team has 4 players. The game is running until November 18th. Seppo is used as a learning diary in the 2-week intensive course and it collects the main lessons learned together at each day.

There will be 10 exercises (one for every working day) and perhaps some flash exercises, which are extra, but obligatory. First week we play in Kiel and second week in Espoo. Let the Game begin!
